The superstars who so lovingly took care of the Lopez brood!

Baby cinco at 21 weeks!
This was our farewell breakfast on Tuesday morning.  I'll sure miss those meals!

Funny kids:

This was my breakfast on Sunday morning - the best one!

Pics from our walk on Sunday:

The pics got a little shuffled, but I'll conclude the Charleston posts here :)  This 3-night getaway was truly dreamy.  It was really like a honeymoon, but much better as our love is much more mature and our relationship has changed in so many ways over 15 years of marriage!  There is really absolutely no other way we would have wanted to spend this milestone anniversary.  It exceeded our expectations in every way and we just kept marveling at the Lord's faithfulness to us and His blessings in our marriage - through the highest highs and the lowest lows - both of which we have experienced in just recent years.
A picture that Mima sent us of the kids have board game time in jammies!

Here we are the morning before we left, reading our Advent passage.  Mima brought matching PJ's for the kids and they're adorable!

Out of order, but this is my absolutely, unbelievably amazing vegetarian platter from dinner on Sunday.
I'm not sure if I posted pics from our dinner on Saturday.  We ate at the incredible restaurant of the hotel and had the best time ever.  We laughed so much that we thought they were going to kick us out!  I hadn't laughed so much in years.  It was therapeutic!

This was breakfast on Monday morning.  Breakfast was included with the hotel room and it was the best!  Fresh fruit, homemade pastries and a full meal - my kind of breakfast!  I think it qualifies as brunch as we ate around 10:00 most mornings.

On Monday we rented bikes and had a wonderful ride around the city.  My favorite activity ever! :)

Monday was a dreamy day!  We started off with brunch at the hotel, then bike ride for 2 hours, then walk around the city and a delightful lunch at a greek place.  We had a window seat so after our meal we just hung out at the table for quite some time, watching people walk by and talking.  It was just so special to have no rush to be anywhere and enjoy each other's company so completely.
After lunch we went back to the hotel for a couple's massage at 4:00pm.  Oh it was amazing.  After our nap, we went back to our room.  I had an hour nap while Ricardo napped.  Then we showered and headed to dinner at 7:45.  We went to the top rated restaurant in Charleston and it was unbelievable!  Once again, we enjoyed a super fun time together and had delicious food!
My exquisite salad with lump crab, tomatoes, spinach and fried green tomatoes.

Wonderful coconut cake!

Then to church

Gorgeous staircase!

Fireplace in our room

Then to the rooftop for a devotional

And then to walk the city for 5 hours:

We're in love with Charleston! So so beautiful!
