Yesterday we went to Piedmont Park for a picnic, a little bit of playground and a lot of pool. Alenka and Philemon (her cousin) tried peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the first time...and loved them!
The pool closed for 30 minutes due to thunder so we entertained ourselves by taking pictures and videos.
This picture is from a very special evening this past Sunday. A family from Heritage who lives here in Dunwoody hosted a dinner for our family so we could meet some of the other Dunwoody families. We did not know any of these people and it was not organized through the school. It is actually a really neat story of how we became connected with the host family, so ask me and I'd love to share the story. The children here represent 4 families, age 2 to 12. We were at their house from 5pm to 9:45pm and had an awesome time!
A mom from Diego's class organized a play time for children coming into pre-K and Kindergarten so that the kids could have a chance to meet their classmates. It was held at the Heritage playground and Diego and Alexia had a blast!!
