Marco is having a hard time going to sleep tonight so as I nurse him, once again, I thought I'd give an update on our happenings around here. I just read Vanessa's blog where she recapped their week so I'll copy her :)
Last week was busy and fun! On Monday Aaron and Helen arrived to spend a few days with us. The kids and I went shopping at Costco around 12 so we had a pizza lunch before hitting the aisles. We ran into out neighbor, Bunkie and she gave each kid $1 so they were thrilled to have an ice cream after the shopping. Marco sat in the cart for almost 2 hours (between lunch, shopping and ice cream) and was perfectly happy. We returned home to get the house cleaned and ready as Ricardo hosted a Deacon's meeting in the evening. I kept it simple and bought rotisserie chickens and made a salad and black beans. Since their mtg carried on late, Helen and I escaped to Cafe Intermezzo for tea and dessert after the kids were asleep. We had a great time!
...ok, the babe is asleep so I'm going to put him in the crib...to be continued... :)
