We went to an adorable place called The Crooked House of Windsor which sits on the shortest street of England. We had to sit outside because our stroller wouldn't fit inside and that way Diego was still able to enjoy the view of all the buses.
Last night Ricardo and I went out on a date and had a fabulous meal. Grammie emailed us just as we were finishing up to say that Alexia was awake and crying. We came straight home and good thing we did because about 20 minutes later a firetruck went by and woke up Diego so they were both crying!
We have been having a bit of a tough time with the munchkins. Alexia will not sleep more than 2 hour stretches and will barely sleep during the day. She has been fussier than normal and only calms down with me. Diego has been ultra clingy to me and fussy and wants to be with me at all times, even during the night. He goes down in the pack n play for the night, but he has woken up in the middle of the night every night and we bring him to bed with us. Yes, that is FOUR people in ONE bed - yes, we realize this could become a habit. But rest assured, we will not let it be! We will have some serious tears to bear when we return to Atlanta, but we're fine with that.
I think it's just been tough on them to adjust to the time difference so hopefully we'll be settled by next week.
Ricardo had to go to the office today, but will try to leave by 4:00pm so we'll all go for a walk together which we're looking forward to!
Can you see how crooked the house is? The door is even hard to push open because it is so crooked.
Now that's a special ice cream!
Pretty soon Alexia will have a say about these cuddles
I forgot to mention that the Queen was with us in Windsor all week. The flag that is flying way up there is the Royal Standard, which means the Queen is at the castle. Yesterday it was changed back to Union Jack. We missed her this time, but her birthday is in a couple of weeks so she'll probably be back and we'll try to catch a glimpse of her then!
