Yesterday was this amazing girl's 7th birthday!! We kept bigs home from school, Ricardo took the day off and we enjoyed a lovely family day.

She requested daddy's omelettes for breakfast. I also served her favorite fruits, mango, Raspberry and pomegranate.

She wrote this while I was in the shower.

She requested Sufi's for lunch. It's a Persian restaurant that is just wonderful. Of course she wanted steak and rice.

The plan had been to go to the High Musuem (we're members, free outing!), but we decided to make a stop at a park and it was so glorious out that we stayed there for hours...

...we explored...

...they raced...

...we held hands and pretended we were in a date...

...we delighted in the beauty of the day....

...she wore herself out and took a break...

...she swung. And we played an epic game of family freeze tag with about 8 trees as bases and it was so much fun!

SEVEN!!

She seriously could not be a better big sister. She's really incredible with Lucia.

She requested baguette sandwiches for dinner so Aldo and Eliana joined us for dinner and cupcakes. I made banana and pumpkin cupcakes with maple cream cheese frosting-deeeeelish!

Praise God for all that she is. Her joy is contagious!
