We had a delightful date last night.  Here I am in front of the fireplace in the lobby of the Mandarin Oriental hotel, after we enjoyed champagne (for R) and yummy appetizers.  
Every new years Ricardo and I have the tradition of reviewing the past year and looking forward to the next year.  We wrote down "highlights of 2013", "answered prayers of 2013", "God's truths revealed to us", and "prayer requests for 2014.". It is a special way to reflect on the previous year and submit ourselves to God's will for the coming year.  
We did it one day early bc we won't get to do it today bc we're on our way to the Grahams house right now for a family slumber party!
