Boston

Here are some pictures of our weekend in Boston. Boston is dear to us because we lived there for two years while Ricardo was in business school. It was wonderful to feel like locals!

Beautiful view flying in

We arrived around 1pm, dropped our bags at the hotel and headed straight to Harvard Square for a coffee and a long stroll around.

On Friday night, we went to our very favorite Italian restaurant and had a FABULOUS meal. I could have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner there all weekend.

Yes, we did a lot of eating! This was my breakfast Saturday morning at the hotel. Divine!

Not a great picture, but the only picture of the two of us. This is inside the Boston Public Library which is a beautiful place. It did not make us miss our student days one bit!

In the Boston Commons. It was SOOOOOOOO cold. I was wearing a long-sleeve shirt, sweater, sweater jacket and winter coat and I was still freezing.

On Saturday afternoon we strolled around some favorite areas and this was near Faneiul Hall. The decorations were gorgeous. This picture was taken around 4:30 and it was already dark!

On Saturday night we went to our favorite sushi restaurant before the Nutcracker. I have been craving a repeat of this meal since we walked out of the restaurant :)

Such fun! I would love to go to Boston some time...I'm sure it's a fantastic city to explore and that sushi! I could jump through the pic! I am SO impressed with your mom's craft skills with the kids! Eighteen pound box?!?! That is above and beyond the call of duty! I bet the kids miss her entertainment like crazy! Miss you guys!
