Papi's home!

We stayed in most of the weekend, trying to get ourselves back to health. Ricardo returned from London on Thursday and was sick with the same bug that Diego passed on to Alexia and I. By Thursday morning, the girls were feeling just as bad as Diego. Diego watched more videos last week than he has in his entire life. It was tough taking care of two sick kids, while being sick myself!

I was soooo happy to see Ricardo walk through the door on Thursday afternoon, as was Diego. As soon as Ricardo came inside, Diego said "Gordon! Gordon!" When Ricardo was packing, Diego had put a picture of Gordon the train into his suitcase and left it there. Well, Gordon traveled all the way to London and back and Diego was just as happy to see Gordon as he was to see Papi. We couldn't believe that was the first thing that came to his mind when he saw the suitcase - what a memory!

We've been excited to see how much Diego's vocabulary is expanding. He comes up with new things everyday. This morning he was eating some crackers and wanted more and said "Un poquito mas" ("a little bit more") (It sounds much cuter in Spanish than in English)

Happy to have Papi home!

Diego loved setting the self-timer and taking a ton of family shots

"Diego's turn!"

"Papi's turn!"

"Diego's turn!"

Sitting up for a few seconds before toppling over!
