Dresses and smiles

Ricardo was out of town again all of last week so we were thrilled to have him come home on Friday. When he arrived at 11:00pm, he found a bed full of bodies. I was in the middle and each monkey was on either side of me. Diego had had a terrible time falling asleep so I brought him to bed with me and Alexia had just woken up to eat (again!) Diego was really excited to see Papi on Saturday morning and was in a great mood all day, hanging out with his Papi. We had a great weekend as a family and are excited that Papi doesn't have to travel this week!


I love dresses for little girls, but Alexia has never worn a dress outside of the house. The only time I have ever put a dress on her was for our family Christmas picture. Now that the weather is warming up, I can't wait to dress her up more. Here she is, all dressed up before leaving for church this morning.


Bath time now brings smiles! It took almost four months for this little girl to enjoy baths, but now she loves them. Ok, love might be an over-statement for now, but she is definitely enjoying them more and more every day.
