This was a dreamy weekend. All of our plans were cancelled last minute, so we had the entire weekend to ourselves. It has been months since we've had one of these so we relished it. Today we went to early church, home for chili and then hung out the rest of the day. Alexia and I made a quick trip to the mall for a couple of sweaters for her.
In the afternoon we all enjoyed warm apple cider and daddy reading to us by the fireplace. Full hearts!

They pleaded for another slumber party tonight so we obliged. How cute are their glow bracelets hanging?!

Ricardo is amazing! He took all FOUR kids to Whole Foods this afternoon to buy delicacies for date night so that I could have a nap. I think that was his first outing with all of them and he came back a happy man, delighted with the outing. Diego pushed Lucia in the stroller which was a huge help.

After trick or treating last night, the kids had a slumber party together (they had been counting down the days!). The room was completely dark so I took this pic with the flash-they were playing some silly game. We let them talk until they were too tired to stay up anymore. Sweet times!

Marco did a lot of the cutting this morning of Ricardo's hair cut!

Here's our crawling machine enjoying some brown rice. Wow, this girl is the delicacy of all delights.
She has 6 teeth, has mastered crawling, can say "mama" and does.not cry. She nurses her way through the day and has one meal of real food a day. Her favorites are sweet potato and pumpkin or any fruit. She goes to bed around 7:00-7:30, wakes up to nurse at 4:00 or 5:00 and then sleeps until 7:00 or until Diego wakes her up by getting ready for school. She sleeps in his room and he loves it. She naps 2-3 times a day, 40 min - 2 hrs at a time...totally unpredictable. She goes crazy over her siblings, doesn't laugh or cry, but smiles all the time. When we say "how big is Lucia?" She puts one arm up in the air to say "so big". If I say "quieres leche?" She immediately sucks her thumb and fusses until
I nurse her. She is attached to her gee-gee for sleeping and has one in the car too.
Diego calls her "curry powder" or "missy pants" and we are all completely and totally smitten with her.
