Grandpa, Coco and Tio Roby came to visit us a few weeks ago and we had a really great time with them.  We had not seen Grandpa in 3 years so it was so wonderful to see him and the kids loved having him here!  Of course they could not get enough of Tio Roby and soaked up their time with him.

The whole crew was dressed up to support Barcelona in a soccer game that we watched at Tio Aldo's house, while enjoying pupusas and other Salvadoran delicacies!

This little girl loves her Tio Roby!

We hosted home group on Saturday and the kids could not get enough of baby Charlotte.

Watching the game!

We grilled out on Sunday afternoon and had a delightful lunch after church.

 The obligatory soccer game!

Peyton wanted to be in the picture, too!

We went for a walk on the BeltLine and then to lunch at Ponce City Market.
I have more pictures from their visit, but need to find them!

Ricardo took the week off so we enjoyed a really fun lunch and board game afternoon with Luis, a good friend from HBS.
So once we chopped up that massive chocolate bunny and froze most of it, we decided we needed to make chocolate fondue.  We invited our precious neighbor, Bubba over to enjoy the fondue with us and we had a special time!

The pictures below are from an awesome field trip we took with our DASCH group to the Art Barn. We all had a blast and loved being out in the country and enjoying animals, time with friends, lunch and a small art project.
Here's most of the crew, ready for the tour.

Yes, this sweet girl is 2 years old now, but she still gets pampered!  Diego and Alexia both wanted to rub cream on her after her bath and she was mostly fine with it.  She mostly enjoys their love and affection, but does get fed up sometimes.

Talking to Tio Roby!

She only sucks her thumb if she is holding her gee-gee and she is only allowed her gee-gee when she's in her crib...most days.  This particular day was a sick day for a few of us so I let her have her small gee-gee and she would curl up the funniest places and suck her thumb.  Here she's on the bottom stair!

This boy is like his mama and he loves a killer sandwich.  I've passed on my love for alfalfa sprouts to all of the kids, but Diego is the one that could put an entire container on one sandwich.  Here's his favorite combo: ham, swiss cheese, mayonnaise, onions and alfalfa sprouts.

We had a crazy bout of sickness run through all the kids and myself for almost two weeks.  Alexia was the first to be hit with a fever so she had a full day on the couch.

Lucia felt fine this particular day, but loved to crawl up on the couch and be cozy like big sister.

And of course, being Alexia, she read to Marco while she was sick.  So very precious!

Easter!

Since I am having trouble linking the blog and my phone, I have fallen terribly behind in posting.  Sadness!  But I am going to try to play catch up now that I was able to upload some pics to my computer, but not as many as I have...still trying to figure out what's going on...

We had a really delightful Easter this year.  We had an absolutely glorious morning of worship at church.  The music, the sermon, the baptisms, just everything about it was really incredible.  We all left simply amazed at this beautiful, terrible cross that has made a way for us to be reconciled to God and look forward to an eternity with Him.

After church we headed to the Intercontinental for brunch.  We've done this several times in the past years and we just love it.  It gets better every year.  We were there for almost 3 hours and ate and ate and ate!  It was just the 6 of us so we enjoyed special family time.  Diego found the golden egg during the egg hunt so he was awarded the GIANT chocolate bunny, measuring 25" high - crazy!  The kids also loved the petting zoo they had set up.
