Teacher lucia

It was rainy and cold yesterday, so this is where they opted to spend their play time!

This past Thursday we went to Fernbank museum with the Coxes. The kids had an absolute blast!!!

Ricardo took last Friday off (and this past one!) so we split up and had boys and girls dates. Alexia, Lucia and I went shopping, out to lunch and home for special time and Ricardo took the boys golfing and then out to milkshakes.

After the mall we put lucia down for a nap and made scones from scratch...

They were delectable-served with fresh whipped cream and jam!

Then we played cards

and here are the boys golfing. Ricardo came home with a full heart and just rejoicing that he can enjoy playing 18 holes of golf with his boys. What a blessing!

Friday night slumber party!

4 kids to the salon today! They all did great and lucia was incredible . She sat perfectly still and actually seemed to enjoy the haircut!

Oh these goobers! They're way too awesome! I'm so grateful that I enjoy our kids and I like being with them. Can't imagine this job any other way.

On Saturday we hosted home group, had quick snoozes for baby and parents and then we headed down for a walk near Collier and then to Bell Street Burritos for dinner. After I took those pics of the boys, Marco climbed into Diego's lap for cuddles-so sweet!

Last Wednesday we finished school at noon, packed a picnic and headed to the zoo for the afternoon. We had the best time ever. It was empty, the weather was gorgeous and the kids were giddy running around discovering new things about the animals. Lucia absolutely loved it! We stayed until close to 5:00pm!

This is a typical scene while Marco is in speech therapy: Diego reads, Alexia reads or plays and Lucia gets in to everything she can.
