This awesome boy is doing so great climbing trees! Can you tell how pleased he is?!

Crazy crew in the stroller!

Diego and Alexia did a service project for school so we visited Shepard Center next to our old church building and we had a really sweet visit with two ladies, Ida and Sandy.

Reciting a poem for Ms Sandy

Diego did his state project on Washington and did a great job with his presentation. I was there with all the kids so it felt a bit chaotic for me, but I so loved being there to watch my boy!!

Two weeks ago we went to Miller's bday party at the fire station. It was sooo much fun! The firefighters did an outstanding job and made it very fun and educational for the children. Marco loved having Alexia along as his buddy :). (Ricardo and Diego went golfing)

Another culinary creation...manchego cheese, cracker and chip rolled into a piece of turkey

Last Thursday I took the kids to a neighborhood carnival called Lemonade Days and we had a blast! It was a bit drizzly at times, but not too bad. Ricardo met us there after work and we had dinner together.

I could not believe they all wanted to do this ride...

...here they are for the second round. I would not do it with them, but I just snuck in for a picture. They looooooved it!

The operator of this ride said I had to go with them. Oh my, I have not screamed like that for a very long time. It was so fun, but I was a bit nauseous afterwards!

Winning prizes

Lucia wore this vest that Grammie bought her for the first time so we had to get a picture!

A sprout on her head!

Oh these boys. These muddy, muddy boys. They had a blast playing in the mud yesterday....

...and the girls opted to sit on the bench and observe.

Bucket baby. She kept her legs tucked in like this on the swing. Cuteness!

I need to update on the nursing strike...
So Lucia went 6 days without nursing and then gradually came back to it, on her terms. Thankfully I had kept up my supply bc she's one demanding baby. Ha!
I noticed a sore on her tongue last week so I wonder if that had to do with it, but anyways I am happy that she'll nurse again although I do wonder if I'll kick myself that I didn't let her go when she's asking for milk at age 3! :).

Our baby's not a baby!! We went to visit Jacqui and their new baby today and couldn't believe how big Lucia looked! Baby Darby is just precious!

Our dear, dear friends Aaron and Helen are in town from France and came over for breakfast yesterday morning. It was such fun to spend tint with them and as you can see in the pics, the kids were soooo thrilled to have some time with Aaron! The kids took some pics of the adults, but they're on Ricardo's phone so will post later.

Easter Sunday was a glorious day of worship at church, rejoicing in our risen King!

After church we went out to brunch with Aldo & fam and enjoyed a really nice time.

Oh what joy! Saturday we rented bikes and soaked up some serious sunshine and really enjoyed a family day. We had a wonderful lunch at Krog St Market, went biking for a few hours and then went back for ice cream. I'm so grateful our crew loves biking as much as I do. Lucia really enjoyed the buggy!
