This is how I found these three this morning. Marco was close by, but keeping a safe distance as he has strep throat. What a blessed baby!!

Diego and Alexia received their 2013-14 yearbooks on Friday. They were admiring their signatures when they decided they wanted Lucia to sign them. So here's Lucia leaving her mark on Diego's yearbook. Too funny!

Diego's special friend, Helen has cystic fibrosis. Her family had a fundraiser event on Saturday at a bowling alley. We all went and had so much fun! Diego is pictured with Helen above.

The other day Marco was kissing Lucia in her car seat when he was supposed to be getting into his. He said "But mom, she's just so cute that she's trapping me."

This morning we were talking about evil in the world and killings in Iraq. Later as we were driving, Marco asked "Will those evil people come here and kill us?" I assured him that they will not. Then he asked "do they eat the people after they kill them?" I told him no. Then me said "Maybe they put them in poison ivy...right?"

Ricardo left work early on Friday. He took the kids for a walk at the nature center while Lucia and I napped and then we met them at mellow mushroom for dinner. Love this pic of Marco!

Yesterday was a special day! We went to our very first Braves game! A friend from church sang the national anthem so we went to support her and to enjoy the game. The game started at 7:00p so it was a late night, but so much fun. The kids really loved it!

I was so excited to take Marco to a friend's birthday party yesterday! He's always had a sibling along for bday parties and this was the first one when it was just him and I. James had a gymnastics party and it was so much fun!!

Lucia sat in her high chair for the first time this morning! We're not starting food yet, but she sure enjoyed gnawing on forks and spoons!

Wow-wo-wee-wah... as we're known to say around here. These kids are growing up!
Diego could not be more excited to start THIRD grade, Alexia is thrilled for FIRST grade and Marco is very happy to start homeschool with mommy :)
The head of school read from scripture, prayed snd children released balloons into the sky...a very precious time.
My heart rejoices that God chose these children to be in our family. I get the amazing privilege of loving them and taking care of them; I wouldn't change it for a thing.
