The family went for a nature walk yesterday and then to Farm Burger for lunch.  Lucia and I stayed home to rest!

Somebody's at the pet store with auntie and Mima.  This could be dangerous! :)

Ricardo and I had a delightful date night last night, with baby girl in tow.  She did so well despite being awake almost the entire time.  She nursed right before dessert and fell asleep.  The people at the tables near us couldn't get enough of her.  The picture of the 3 of us was taken by a man who stood up with his phone and said he just had to take a picture of us...Ricardo gave him his phone so thar our picture wouldn't be on some stranger's phone :)
We may need to do this every night.  I think I put her in her crib around 10:30 and she slept until 4:00!

The kids did amazingly well at the dentist yesterday.  It was Marco's first time and he was such a champ.  They all sat quietly and did so well as they poked and scraped and cleaned their teeth.  Big kids were thrilled with their report of no cavities.  She said they both have extremely crowded mouths and will definitely need braces...boo!

Today the 3 big kids have dentist appointments.  Tia Majo arrived yesterday and we're all thrilled to have her here!

Fun pictures from today's trip to the museum?

This is a precious picture of Ricardo's grandfather and grandmother and their 4 children.  Ricardo's dad is on the far left and that's Tia Any in the yellow dress.  Their Tio Jose (the baby) passed away in a motorcycle accident when he was 17.  Tio Mario is the boy on the far right.  Grateful for the heritage Abue passed on to my husband.

Ricardo's aunt, Tia Any arrived yesterday to spend a night with us on her way to India.  The kids have enjoyed her company all morning.  They all just left to go out to lunch and then to the High Museum. Lucia and I have the house to ourselves...it's so quiet!

We've had a cozy day at home, avoiding the ice storm outside.  The city is basically shut down and nobody is on the roads.  I'm so thankful we haven't lost power yet.

These sweet moments of reading to my boy with my girl in my arms are so reminiscent of the days with my first boy/girl pair.  My heart is full!
