It had to come...the day to say goodbye. We drove up to Marietta yesterday to give our final hugs and kisses and to shed tears as we bid farewell to our precious friends. Our hearts our sad, but also full of joy for this new adventure God has planned for the Graham's in England!

Homework time

Setting up 5-star sleepover accommodations for the kids!

Today we went to an indoor play place with Laura and boys as a farewell playdate.  The kids had such a blast!  Oliver came home with us and is going to have a sleepover so kids are thrilled!

Not sure if I ever posted our completed bedroom picture.  Here it is!  We absolutely love it!!

Marco loves to have jobs.  Here he is storing the granola I made last night.  We skipped bible study this morning to stay home and get lots done around the house and he's a wonderful helper!  This sudden burst of energy I have makes me wonder if labor is coming soon! :) (but it can't...not until Grammie arrives at 6am on Monday morning!)

Some of you may know that in my final weeks of pregnancy I get crazy nesting impulses...and it gets worse every time!
Since the nesting craze began over Christmas Ricardo has been involved this time and he's been an amazing help!  The way this nesting happens is that I go into a room and pull EVERYTHING out of every closet, cupboard and drawer and then reorganize while getting rid of a lot.  I even had Container Store design and install shelves and drawers in the guest room and kids closets to ease the "putting back" step :)
Here's a picture from yesterday when I unloaded the upstairs hallway closets and our bathroom cupboards.

Yesterday was a glorious winter day...sunny, clear and 60 degrees!!  We had lunch at Farm and then headed to a favorite nature trail.  We has a blast walking, running, climbing, exploring and wading.  The kids really wanted to take off their shoes and go in the water so what could we say?!  Diego ended up falling in which was hilarious and it took the boy literally hours to warm up....the water was ice cold!
Here's a shot of my 38-wk belly!

And here's Mrs Wight's comments:
Alexia continues to thrive in Enrichment II at Heritage. She is meeting all expectations in Language Arts and Math.  Alexia's habits of attention, class participation, and perseverance showed marked improvement over the second half of the semester. Her confidence blossomed as her attendance was more consistent. I would like to see Alexia strengthen her ability to narrate back what she has heard in Bible or Literature over the course of this semester. I appreciate Alexia's love of beauty and how that manifests itself in written work done neatly and to the best of her ability. She is a delight to have in class

Saturday morning!  This has been our Sat morning routine since December.  The kids wake up at 7:00, cone downstairs serve themselves cereal or yogurt, watch a video and then wake us up at 8:00 (this morning it was 8:40!). I then make French toast while R and kids play blokus and they eat around the game board.  This is a wonderful family game that all enjoy!

It won't let me copy and paste Alexia's so I'll do hers from my computer tomorrow.
We received semester report cards today. This is Mrs Jablonski's comments:
Diego is a joy to teach. He loves learning and it shows in all he does. Diego is a diligent student who strives for
excellence in all that he attempts. He sets a good example for peers in his works habits. Diego has made good
progress this semester and seems to be thoroughly enjoying Class Two. His love for reading is contagious with his
classmates. I look forward to seeing God grow him throughout this year. I am thankful for the privilege and blessing of
being Diego's teacher again this year.

My dear hubby brought me roses and chocolates yesterday to say thank you for the sacrifice of carrying our precious baby.  We had a long chat over dinner planning the next 2 months and we're excited to enter this newborn fog together!

While out doing errands with the boys, Ricardo treated them to a quick stop by the pet store for some bunny love.

Tonight was our last visit to the Grahams house as the movers come on wednesday :(. We all went out to dinner at Farm Burger and then back to their house to hang out.  They depart for England in 2 weeks so we still have a little bit of time.  We'll get one last sleepover at our house before they go!

Getting ready!  Baby girl's clothes are all washed and put away.  The kids were so excited to help me get her things ready.  We're excited around here!!  3.5 weeks to go!

Alexia's selfie of the new hole in her mouth.

Yesterday was Ruth's birthday so we had her and the kids over for a day long playdate complete with morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea.  Here the kids are enjoying scones and whipped cream!

We had some snow flurries yesterday and the kids were thrilled!  They played outside for a few minutes and loved it.

I realized that these two pictures didn't make it through last week from our lunch with Tio Roby.  You will notice that each child has their OWN milkshake.  Diego and Alexia had brought their own money and really wanted to buy themselves their milkshakes and they both split the cost of Marco's milkshake.  So as you can imagine, I had waaaay too much milkshake since they couldn't possibly finish them on their own (besides Diego)!  Yumminess!!
