We're home! This is the view of our hotel room...paradise!
We came back to a freezing house and a dead fish, but full of gratitude and joy! I love being back home!

We are packing our bags for Aruba!!! We depart tomorrow for a week-long vacation. The children are goofy with excitement! We are grateful that the Lord provided this opportunity for us to have a special family trip for the 5 of us before baby girl arrives. When we leave Atlanta in the morning it will be 29 degrees and when we arrive to Aruba it will be 89...yikes! Can't wait!

Yesterday was "the best day ever!" in Alexia's words. She made all the requests for the day and we all enjoyed spoiling her. We had croissants, raspberries and mango for breakfast. I took donuts to her class at noon and read two books to them which was so much fun. After school we went straight to the zoo and met Laura and her boys there. Alexia really wanted papa johns pizza for lunch so we had it delivered to the zoo entrance! She was thrilled! The zoo was absolutely gorgeous and we really has a wonderful time. We went to the zoo when I was in labor with her so it was super special to be there with her on her 6th birthday!
We didn't leave until 4:15, raved home to change clothes and then met Ricardo at Joey D's for an early dinner. Her request was steak and we all loved the restaurant.
We headed home for carrot cake and presents and she was ecstatic with her presents! We bought her s beautiful necklace with a tiny cross pendant and some clothes.
So that's the details of our doings for the day, but I want to write details of who this 6 yr old girl is. I'll upload some pics and hopefully tomorrow I can get on my computer to write more!
