For any of you that still check the blog, you can thank Jessie for holding me accountable to updating tonight! She has been asking for updates (which makes me feel loved) so I didn't want to let you down! :)
I cannot believe that I still haven't posted about the first day of school!
But for now, the best I can do is a photo dump with captions...so enjoy! :)

Yes, she was just about as excited as she looks here!

No big brother like Diego.  What a blessed girl she is!

Marco went right along with all of "first day of school" routine and kept occupied with that blue ball

How great is this picture!?!?

We had a great evening with Zach and Sarah a couple of weeks ago.  Zach is a family friend and I visited his family in Boston every year, starting when he was 1 1/2 (and I was 8).  He has a younger sister and triplet brothers who I helped take care of when they were young.  It was so special to have him at our house!  His girlfriend (Sarah) just moved to Atlanta so we're thrilled to have her here and to be her family away from home.

Marco is going to a "parents morning out" at our church on Friday mornings.  This was his first day of school and he was soooo excited.  He kept saying "back pack" and "escuela."  He did awesome and enjoys going.

Tio Diego is now in El Salvador, but his a picture of Marco swiping his ice cream sundae the night before he left.  We miss you, Tio D!

Love these boys!  The Grahams came over for a very long dinner two weekends ago and we had a blast.

I'm so thankful that Diego gets out of school at 12:30 3 days a week.  This was an after-school activity one day and we so enjoyed being outside together.

Grammie was here this week and we had such a special time.  We had a tea party on Tuesday so Grammie and Alexia made whole-wheat scones from scratch.  Delish!

 Oh so precious!

Tea party!  As soon as Diego returned from school, we sat down for tea and scones with my fancy tea set that Ricardo gifted me for my birthday and we really enjoyed it!

Alexia is in such a helpful and delightful stage.  Tonight she said "Mommy, how can I help you?  I can do anything.  What do you need?"  So I put her to work making dinner.  She grated the cheese, assembled the quesadillas and did it all with smiles and giggles.
And Marco joyfully scarfed it all down...Diego did too!
