We went to a neighborhood Easter egg hunt today and the kids had a blast. They really wanted to wear their matching Cancun shirts so I let them. Marco was very into finding those eggs once daddy let him taste what was hidden inside!

The new living room!

I need to dig out some good "before" pictures for this post, but I thought I would share a picture of our NEW living room! I LOVE how it turned out. This whole project began with the desire to add seating to our living room and family room since we love to entertain and we have a lot of house guests. We wanted our home to be cozier and more inviting and we are aboslutely thrilled with the results! Laura and I have had a blast doing this project together. If you are in need of some wonderful help, she's your person to hire!

The dining room, family room and guest room have also drastically changed, but I still have not taken pictures. Stay tuned!

The "after" picture is not the greatest quality since it's taken from my iPhone, but you definitely get the idea.

We headed over to another hotel in the afternoon to enjoy their incredible spa where Ricardo had booked us for a couples massage. After we showered and got ready, it was on to dinner...

It's hard to see here, but our dinner on Saturday night was the ultimate experience!  Ricardo surprised me with a very romantic dinner in a private "casita" on the beach.  Wonderful!

Looking for four-leafed clovers

Ok, blog readers...you're not going to believe where I am! I am sitting at the airport, waiting to board a plane to Cancun, Mexico...alone!!! Ricardo has been there on business this week and called me last night and told me to book a ticket and come down for the weekend! My mom is visiting this week and she was all for the idea so I went for it! Diego was extremely upset when I told him this morning so I let him stay home from school this morning so we could have some special time together. When I left the house at 3pm, all three of them were more interested in their new bubble wands and sprinkler than giving me hugs. I am so grateful that the Lord has blessed us with this opportunity to have a weekend away and for the precious care of my mom for the children. We will return back home on Sunday night. So excited!!!!

The weather was spectacular today!  We had a very busy day with Grammie.  We started off with a long walk in the neighborhood, then painting projects in the driveway, then lunch at chick fil a, then bowling.  After bowling, we went home and I put Marco down for a nap and then headed to the hospital to meet Emma Jane Henry, my dear friend Vanessa's third daughter, born yesterday.  She is absolutely precious!!!!  It was so special to see Ness and Sean and to hold their sweet babe!  While I was gone, Diego and Alexia washed Jamie's car next door.  Here they are:
